To all my watchers,
Has anybody had problems with trojans/viruses from DA?
I've had a couple of odd events that I'm starting to suspect is from DA. One example, was that I was browsing through the art, and suddenly I'm flung out of DA to a website that says I have a virus, and my computer needs to be scanned and that I have to download this antivirus. Of course, it's a scam, but I was surprised that it happened, especially in DA.
Another time, I was once again browsing through art, when suddenly my anti-virus/spam blocker tells me something is trying to invade my computer. This has happened twice already.
Has anybody had this problem?

I'm really excited about 2009. 2008 was nice, but it also had multiple rough spots. The nice thing about a new year, is that you can leave the old and look toward the new! New year, new possibilities!

First of all, I'd like to say a BIG HELLO to my new watchers! Thanks for watching me!

1) welp, my computer got a virus. I have norton anti virus and it turns out to be a waste of my money. so now I'm paying half 1k, to save my files (which i hadn't backed up, silly me) and hopefully bring life back into my computer.
I know my way around computers and it wouldn't even go into safe mode! it just kept restarting and restarting and restarting. so I dropped it off at Geek Squad and hope for the best! Please computer gods, please help and give life to my poor Acer!

2) Talking about new beginnings, I've (finally) moved out of Savannah and moved to a cultured city called San Francisco! My bf got a job here, so now I'm living in SF and moving into a new apartment with my two furballs. It's a pretty crazy move. I've lived in the east all my life, so to come to the west is a dramatic change. But so far, it's a lovely place! Lots to see, lots to do, and lots to eat! so far I've eaten out over 15 places, and I'd have to say that 75% have been OUTSTANDING!! Just saying San Fran makes my mouth water... food is really good here. yum yum.

3) anybody lives in San Fran? I'd like to say hello! I don't really know too many people here, so it would be cool to make some new friends.

4) Job. Looking for one in a 3D company. I focus on lighting, but I am also a strong generalist. you can see my demo reel at mcdigitagallery.com

5) kitties! my Kitties are here and they are having a ROUGH time. poor babies! they had an incident at the airport where my f*cking-piece-of-trash kennel shattered and my cats flew out of there, terrified out of their minds. Thank God it was at the airport, so some good Samaritans helped me find my cats. It was a mess. I was shook up and didn't want to fly since so many bad things were happening. My cats have yet to recover. They are at the new place, jumping at the smallest things (ex. turning pages in a book, a car passes by in the distance, taking off a sweater). They are young so they should bounce pretty quickly. =^_^=

6) I'm trying to leave my bad past behind. I had some really unfortunate events happen in my life at Savannah, and I'm hoping moving across the country will help heal from my wounds.... but it keeps haunting me. They keep coming back therefore I still feel their sting. I just need time to heal.

7) need to finish thesis!!!

i think that's it! wow this turned into a looong entry! I'll be surprise if anybody reads the whole thing!

Hi guys!

School is rocking right now, and it is absolutely crazy. I am taking Directed Projects which helps me focus on working on my *drum roll please* thesis!

Yes, I am one class away from getting my MFA. Actually, it's more complicated than that. You have to write a paper, finish a film and take Thesis class. And all those I'm working on except for the class. That's next quarter.

My film is a feminist piece about women's roles in modern society focusing on motherhood, home maker, super model, bride and working class. My paper will focus on each of these roles while discussing current feminist trends. (very interesting! did you know feminism has come in waves? The suffragist, the 70's burning bras, and now we are currently in a postfeminism.... women are regressing!)
