Can you guess which one is the CG twin?

It took me a while to get the lighting, and it's nowhere near reality.... but I have fooled a couple of people.... for about 3 seconds. :)

So please let me know what made it look fake and how long it took you to figure it out!!

The one on the right right? My guess is based on how smooth the one on the right looks in comparison to the left. Also the highlight on the right seems more diffused than the one on the left.

i am going to guess the left one's fake... because it's harder to get the shadow from the red ontheroofthing to be soft edged than it is to make it hard edged. also, the perspective on it looks a little too forced. the front "windshield" and the back "doors" aren't actually parallel.

I'm guessing the one on the right. As I find it too "clean" and smooth. As in, there's no stains ontop of it as there is on the other one.
And the red light thing appears to be too red and has a bit of yellowish lightning...

but damn, it took me a while to find it!

yeah you had me fooled for a while! i'd say the one on the right as well. the thing that caught my eye first was actually the shadow.. its a little too soft on the edges. also the shadow coming from the little deelybop on the top of the van should be sharp and darker like the one next to it. the cg van also is very smooth- it could have been squared off a tad. :> however, i think if you would have added a bit more specularity and some bump mapping this would be pretty flawless!
